The aim of the "Innovative Center of Integrated Marine Environment Research Laboratories for the Offshore Industry" project is to improve the quality and scope of the research offer for entrepreneurs from the offshore sector. The project includes the construction of new research and technical infrastructure and the purchase of equipment that will enable the provision of innovative services based on advanced technologies. The project is unique on a national scale thanks to the location that will allow access to the waterfront. The Innovative Center will include comprehensive research and measurements at sea in order to obtain new information about the state of the marine environment and its resources necessary for operations on the fuel market, shipbuilding, offshore wind energy and maritime transport. The project is carried out by a consortium which includes the leading research center the Maritime Institute GMU (the leader) and the MEWO S.A. offshore market company.
